What dental treatment costs at Klinik Pergigian Genting
What you pay depends on your teeth, and the figure that matters is the one you are given after an examination. Klinik Pergigian Genting publishes starting prices so you can plan, and sets out the full cost of your treatment at your consultation before any work begins.

Prices shown are starting prices and are provided as a general guide. Final treatment fees may vary depending on individual treatment needs, case complexity, materials used and clinical findings. A personalised treatment plan and fee estimate will be provided following assessment.
Quoted after assessment
A night guard is made in different thicknesses depending on how heavily you grind and what is being protected, so the price follows an examination rather than a list.
Why we publish prices
Patients tell us the thing they value most is knowing the cost before treatment starts. Publishing our starting prices is the same commitment written down.
It also spares you having to phone and ask, or sit through an examination before finding out what a treatment involves financially.
What changes the price
Dental treatment is not a fixed-price product. The same procedure on two different mouths is not the same piece of work, and three things move the figure:
How much work is involved. A scaling appointment for someone who comes every six months takes less time than one for someone whose last visit was five years ago.
Which materials or system are used. Self-ligating braces cost more than conventional. Denture materials vary in price. Crown materials differ.
Whether anything else needs treating first. Gum inflammation usually has to be treated before orthodontic work begins, for example.
Your dentist explains all of this at the consultation, with the figure, before you decide anything.
Paying for braces
Braces run eighteen months or more, and the cost does not have to be paid in one go. Instalment options are available for orthodontic treatment. Paying in instalments directly with the clinic is interest-free; credit card instalment plans run on your bank's terms.

Questions worth asking any dental clinic
Before starting a longer treatment anywhere, these four questions tell you what you are actually committing to:
- Are follow-up and adjustment visits included, or charged each time?
- What is not included in the quoted price?
- What happens if something breaks or needs redoing?
- Is the X-ray and initial examination charged separately?
At Klinik Pergigian Genting you get the full cost at your consultation. Ask us all four.
Frequently asked questions
How much is a dental check-up? A consultation and oral examination at Klinik Pergigian Genting starts from RM25. This covers an examination of your teeth, gums and bite, and an explanation of what we find with the cost of any recommended treatment.
Is scaling covered by the consultation fee? No. Scaling and polishing starts from RM100 and is charged separately from the consultation.
Do you accept insurance or company panels? Klinik Pergigian Genting is currently on the EMAS panel. If you are covered by another scheme, ask before your appointment and we will tell you whether it applies.
How can I pay? All common payment methods are accepted.
Are government dental clinics cheaper? Yes. Government dental treatment is subsidised and costs less than private treatment. The usual trade-off is waiting time, particularly for treatment that has to be referred.
Do you offer a student rate? Klinik Pergigian Genting does not currently have a student rate. Consultation starts from RM25 for everyone.
