Principal Dentist

Dr Ashveen is the Principal Dentist at Klinik Pergigian Genting, and the same familiar face patients see visit after visit. He is the dentist you will see for a consultation.

He practises across the full range of family dentistry: general and restorative care, dentures, root canals, braces, aligners and surgical work. Braces and root canal treatment are where his interest runs deepest, and both get the same gentle, precise approach.

That breadth is deliberate. At a practice this size, it means the same person handles your filling, your root canal, your crown and your braces - someone who has already seen your mouth and does not need the history repeated.

Patients describe him as calm, thorough, and clear. Rather than hand you a single plan, he lays out the options: what each involves, what it costs, and what happens if you wait. You decide from there. Whether it is a routine filling or a full treatment plan, you will leave knowing what was found and why a particular treatment was recommended.

Dr Reshnu Suri

Dr Reshnu handles the clinic's complex surgical cases - difficult wisdom tooth removals and dental implants.

She is a visiting dentist, attending when a case requires her rather than being at the clinic daily. If your treatment needs her, we will arrange an appointment for a day she is in.

Her Fellowship in Oral Implantology is a postgraduate qualification specific to implant dentistry - which is why implant assessment and placement is hers rather than shared across the team.

Patients often mention her explanations. One review describes her taking the time to walk through every step of a procedure and all the available options, easing a long-standing fear of the dentist.

Our nursing team

Our nurses assist with every procedure and answer most of the WhatsApp messages that come in during clinic hours.

Between the dentists and the nursing team, we can hold a full clinical conversation - diagnosis, options and costs - in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Tamil or Hindi.

Which dentist will I see?

Dr Ashveen, in almost all cases. He carries out most of the treatment here and sees patients for consultations - routine check-ups, fillings, root canal treatment, braces and general family dentistry.

Dr Reshnu attends for complex surgical cases. If your treatment needs her, we will book you for a day she is in.

Walk-in patients are welcome, though booking an appointment means less waiting and lets us set aside enough time for longer treatment.

A note on specialists

Dr Ashveen and Dr Reshnu are general dental practitioners. Neither is registered with the Malaysian Dental Council as a specialist, and the clinic does not describe itself as an orthodontic, periodontal or oral surgery specialist practice.

General dentists in Malaysia are qualified to provide braces, implants and minor oral surgery, all of which are carried out here. Where a case genuinely requires specialist care, we will refer you rather than take it on.
